After I made my two Nettie bodysuits I figured it was time for a Nettie dress. I had just bought this spongy ITY knit on sale (and bought 4 metres) and figured this was the perfect fabric for my new summer dress. I made sure to carefully cut the pieces so the stripes matched. I even cut the sleeves to match… But I cut the red on top instead of the blue so I didn’t attach them 🙂 I didn’t make any alterations after my previous Nettie, I just graded out to a bigger size in the hips. I wish I had made a Tardis (preferably with The Doctor included – preferably David Tennant) but I made a travel set instead! We had an upcoming holiday to France. I … Continue reading For you February – Project Weekender Bag & Project Pajamas
The Twitter Sewing community got talking again and suddenly we all realised that we were all sewing for others this month. We decided it needed a name and For You February was born. Leave it to the ever lovely Gillian to design a logo for it! It wasn’t any different for me. There were some ‘For you’ projects on my list for this month. Only difference is, they weren’t presents. People actually asked me to make these (which does make me a little proud of myself) for a special occasion. So instead of taking it easy, I was on a … Continue reading For You February – Project Bumblebee
